Founded in the 3rd century BC, Trogir in the true sense of a city-museum. Lovers of cultural and historical monuments, art, original architecture and nice alleys are here to learn about the manifold and complex heritage - from the Romanesque yard to the modern interiors. Its history and heritage have contributed to become part of UNESCO world heritage site. The town itself is surrounded by walls, within which are preserved towers and steeples, traditional stone houses and palaces from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Time will stop for a moment while you observe the history carved in stone and be witness to the richness of tradition.
