Vinkuran ia a small fishing village that offers an ideal tranquil holiday. Set aside from the main roads but still very close to touristic places such as Premantura, Medulin, and Pula. Located near the bay of Vinkuran are the three island's Fratarski, Frašker and Fraškerić. Vinkuran is known for its stone. The Amphitheatar Arena in Pula was built with this stone, which came from a dam in a quarry near Vinkuran - Cave Romane.
